EVERY year since I've been two years sober I have man- aged to travel and spend my two-week holiday and AA an- niversary (which happen to occur simultaneously) in a foreign country. This has taken me to Rome, Ma- drid, Gran Canaria, Sicily and India. I have gone to these places and not found the need to drink and really enjoyed them immensely. It also re- affirms to me that I can do anything if I don't drink. I am a gay man and the Fellow- ship has not only given me acceptance of my alcoholism, it's also helped me accept myself and my sexuality. Most days I can like the man in the mirror. For this year's trip, I decided on Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I like Mexi- can men and my money would go further there than in other countries.
