10 March 2011 AA News Much ado about GV Fellowship feedback provides key information In recent months, there has been a flurry of shar- ing going on in the Fellow- ship about AA Grapevine. Beginning with last year's Conference, an ap- proved agenda item with four questions about AA Grapevine was circulated to the Areas. In addition, an expanded question- naire was appended to the four questions to provide even more detailed insight into the Fellowship's thoughts about AA Grapvine. Sev- eral members performed service by compiling and condensing the moun- tains of data from these expanded questions. In all, 9735 surveys were re- turned from the 93 Areas. Results of the agenda sur- vey will be presented at the 61st General Service Conference in May 2011. Plus, in Summer 2010, on the heels of the International Convention, a Grapevine subscriber survey was circulated to a random selection of readers as well as former subscribers. 6619 surveys were sent out and 2116 were returned---a 32% response. And as part of and prelude to the web relaunch of AAGrapevine. org planned for mid-2011, Grapevine sta and the AA Grapevine Conference Committee teamed up to develop sharing sessions on the web site. Members from all over phoned in on their own dime to provide input on the relaunch. AA Grapevine extends a special thank you to all who took time to partici- pate in sharing, including delegates and members who compiled data. ese individual voices of AA will help to make a better magazine and web site, and lay the foundation for the future.
